Welcome!
My name is Nomfundo Mbatha. I was born and raised in South Africa, Ladysmith. After my teaching career began in 2015, I soon realised that it was not the right choice for me. Thus, I went back to school to pursue my studies in Communications. This blog and YouTube channel (Nomfundo Mbatha) are a result of my love for digital media and content creation.
What you can expect
Here at nomfundombatha.com, I write about life in China, book reviews and all things life. The goal is to share valuable information while also sharing my insight on everyday life issues. Sharing information about life in China and how to get jobs here is my small way of giving back to society.
Book reviews? Well, I have many ‘first loves’ and reading is at the top of the list. I like sharing my passion with fellow bookworms. Though I don’t discriminate, I mostly read fiction by black female authors. There’s something magical about getting lost in intriguing, fictional stories that I mostly can relate to, context wise. So many lessons. So much joy.
Finally, on the topic of everyday issues, we all need input from others somewhere, somehow to survive. You have permission to drink from my cup. I will be happy to drink from yours too as we continue to connect and grow. XXX
